Matt McKinney was born in Nashville and raised in Lebanon, Tennessee.From the time he was a small child he expressed interest in automobiles, attended many antique car shows and stock car races annually with his father. After attending Tennessee Technological Center in Hartsville, Matt accepted a job at Hallmark Jeep, Volkswagen and Hyundai in Rivergate, Tennessee as an automotive repair technician.After working his way up, he was promoted to assistant service manager, then service director.During his tenure, Hallmark won many awards in quality and customer satisfaction from the manufactures, including the prestigious Chrysler “5 Star” designation. After leaving Hallmark, Matt took over as service director at Southeast Signature Automotive in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. In the course of one year, Southeast Signature consistently had the top 5 customer satisfaction ratings for Volkswagen in the Tennessee area. After working in larger metropolitan areas for over 10 years, Matt decided to come home to Lebanon and offer the service and expertise that he valves most.
Jason Bivens
Jason Bivens was born and raised in McMinnville, Tennessee.His father ran an auto repair business from home during Jason’s childhood.Having worked in the family business, Jason gained a working knowledge of automobile repair. After high school, Jason worked full time for Calsonic Yorozu in Morrison for 9 years while building and modifying Mustangs in his spare time.Jason accepted his first job in automotive repair full time at Hallmark Jeep, Volkswagen and Hyundai in Rivergate.While working there, Jason achieved Chrysler Gold Certification which is the highest level Chrysler awards.During the next 8 years, Jason and Matt would become good friends and partners. Jason took his experience to Southeast Signature in Murfreesboro with Matt McKinney and worked for 3 years before leaving and being offered partial ownership at Superior Automotive Repair.
